Senior HR Manager

The position is responsible for supervising all aspects of HR operations, including the formulation and implementation of enduring recruitment and talent development strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the representative of HR, providing guidance to the business on policies related to people, driving change management efforts, and serving as an internal organizational coach and consultant.
• Collaborate closely with business leaders to deploy HR solutions that align with people management strategies, promoting ongoing engagement and fostering a culture of high performance.
• Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of HR functions, encompassing workforce planning, talent development, succession planning, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition and retention, compensation planning, and initiatives related to change management.
• Provide guidance and coaching to managers on HR best practices, processes, policies, and compliance with regulations.
• Work collaboratively with management on workforce planning, recruitment strategies, hiring decisions, and the review of job offers.
• Lead and facilitate activities related to talent management programs and implement company-wide engagement initiatives to foster a unified and positive work environment.

Job Requirements:

• Our client is seeking a candidate with over a decade of valuable HR experience, possessing a sound understanding of Japanese labor laws and regulations. The ideal candidate should have a global and open mindset and practical experience in HR within multinational companies.
• The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience in navigating matrix organizations, coupled with a strong aptitude for business and effective communication skills.
• Fluency in both Japanese and Business English is a mandatory requirement for fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.
