• Rate: circa $100 per hour including super

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst - Testing to join a major enterprise technology transformation program within a leading Australian financial services organisation.

This role will play a critical part in defining and uplifting testing operations, governance frameworks, operating models and enterprise delivery practices across complex technology environments. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, SMEs and delivery teams to establish clear processes, controls, accountabilities and target-state ways of working that enable successful and auditable delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and document operating models, governance frameworks, processes, SOPs and workflows across testing and technology delivery functions.
• Facilitate workshops with senior stakeholders, SMEs and delivery teams to gather requirements and drive alignment.
• Develop governance artefacts including RACI/RASCI models, decision frameworks, control gates and evidence requirements.
• Analyse current-state practices and design future-state operational models and processes.
• Identify risks, dependencies, gaps and opportunities for improvement across testing operations and delivery governance.
• Translate complex technical and operational requirements into actionable plans, procedures and delivery artefacts.
• Drive visibility of actions, decisions, risks, controls and evidence requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support adoption of new ways of working through communications, briefings, guidance materials and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate across testing, environment management, release governance and operational support teams to ensure alignment and delivery readiness.
• Produce high-quality executive and practitioner-facing documentation to support decision-making and governance outcomes.

The Successful Candidate:

• 7+ years' Business Analysis experience within technology, transformation, service management, testing operations or enterprise delivery environments.
• Demonstrated experience defining operating models, governance frameworks, processes, controls and delivery practices.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders, SMEs and delivery teams.
• Proven ability to work effectively in complex, ambiguous and fast-paced delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, controls, auditability and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to convert complexity into practical outcomes.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to drive outcomes independently while maintaining strong collaboration across multiple teams.

Nice to Have:

• Experience within a large financial services organisation.
• Exposure to testing operations, environment management or enterprise release governance.
• Knowledge of environment booking, contention management, batch calendars, data refresh processes, data masking, snapshot/restore activities and release gating.
• Understanding of incident escalation, recovery controls and cross-platform risk management.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, ServiceNow or TEMS-style workflows and evidence repositories.
• Experience creating dashboards, action tracking mechanisms and governance reporting frameworks.
