Dozer/Grader Operator - $63-$72/hr | 2:1 Roster

Techforce has partnered with a well-established Gold Mining Contractor offering an exciting opportunity within an open-pit production operation. This role offers $63-$72 per hour on a 2:1 roster, with long-term stability and the opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment. Must Have:

• Proven dozer operating experience/tickets.
• Proven grader operating experience/tickets.
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 3 months.
• Previous open-pit mining experience highly regarded. 
• Current Medical Clearance.
• Experience on the 16M Grader 
• Experience on the D9/D10 Dozer

Your Responsibilities: 

• Operate dozers and graders across an open-pit production mining environment to maintain haul roads, ramps, benches, dumps and working areas.
• Push, spread, level and shape waste rock, dirt and other materials to support day-to-day production activities.
• Construct, maintain and trim haul roads to ensure safe and efficient access for haul trucks and other heavy mobile equipment.
• Repair potholes, ruts, corrugations and uneven surfaces while maintaining correct road profiles, drainage and camber.
• Maintain dump areas, stockpiles, pit floors, batters and general work areas to required site specifications.
