We are working with a successful housebuilder looking to appoint an experienced Construction Director to lead their Midlands region.This role requires someone who is already operating at Construction Director level and has a proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams while delivering quality homes safely, on programme and ready for customer handover on time.We're looking for a genuine leader rather than a manager. Someone who motivates, supports and develops their people, creates a positive culture and gets the best out of those around them.Working closely with other departments is essential, particularly Sales, as the business continues to navigate a challenging market. The successful individual will understand the importance of collaboration and will actively support the wider business to achieve its goals.


Key Requirements

  • Currently operating as a Construction Director within a housebuilding business.
  • Strong leadership skills with a supportive and motivational approach.
  • Proven ability to build, lead and develop successful teams.
  • Experience delivering homes safely, on programme and achieving customer handovers on time.
  • Able to work effectively with Sales, Commercial, Technical and wider business functions.
  • Commercially aware and understands the challenges of today's market.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and able to think outside the box when challenges arise.
  • Comfortable challenging the norm and finding new ways to improve performance.
  • Experience within a volume housebuilder and/or partnership housing environment would be highly desirable.
