Apply directThe Office Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the firm. This position exists to provide high-level administrative, operational and compliance support to Partners and staff, enabling them to focus on delivering quality financial and accounting services to clients. By overseeing office systems, managing resources, and maintaining professional standards, the Office Manager ensures the firm operates effectively, maintains compliance obligations, and delivers an excellent client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily office operations including facilities, supplies, scheduling, and vendor management. • Provide administrative support to Partners and Managers, including diary management, meeting coordination, and correspondence. • Manage client communication with professionalism and confidentiality. • Support compliance activities, including ensuring firm-wide adherence to ASIC, ATO and industry regulations. • Liaise with the finance team on invoicing, expense management, reconciliations, and budget oversight. • Liaise with HR regarding coordination of onboarding, induction, and HR administration for new staff. • Manage and maintain office systems, including software management (Xero, MYOB, APS or similar). • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to support business functions. • Contribute to business improvement projects and ensure efficient workflows across the office.
Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience
• Proven experience as an Office Manager. • Strong knowledge of office systems, processes, and compliance in the finance sector. • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask. • High-Level proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and software management. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Leadership ability with a collaborative approach to team support. • High degree of confidentiality, discretion and professionalism. • Minimum 2 years-experience in a similar role within finance/accounting or professional services. • Experience with accounting or software management (e.g. MYOB, Xero, APS etc). • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in HR, Business, Finance or Accounting.
