1st shift Team lead

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A QUALIFIED CANDIDATE TO BECOME THE REPACK TEAM LEAD FOR THE 1st SHIFT OPERATION. BELOW ARE A FEW OF THE CRITERIA OF WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.

The primary responsibilities of the bultk team lead position are to support the repack supervisor in various operational aspects. The key expectations for this role include performing the following:
1. Ensure adherence to housekeeping and repack procedures by all material handlers. Cross-train in this role and possess forklift driving skills.
2. Ensure proper execution of procedures, including adherence to the build schedule . Cross-train in this role and possess forklift driving skills.
3. Ensure repackers comply with housekeeping and repack procedures. Crosstrain in this role, possessing skills in auditing repackers.
4. Ensure repack drivers (Small lot and Bulk) comply with housekeeping and job procedures. Crosstrain in this role, possessing skills in driving a forklift, loading and unloading stations, and routing material in the warehouse.
5. Perform Daily Team Lead Audits which will be supplied in a checklist format.
6. Provide coverage in areas of absenteeism. (Small lot, Bulk, and FL job functions)
7. Acquire proficiency in AS400 functions using the desktop computer. This includes tasks such as releasing and closing bulk orders, as well as familiarizing oneself with part locations within AS400, creating orders, closing orders, logging information into spread sheets, sending emails, and monitoring replenishment.
8. Address and resolve label issues related to printers used by repack.
9. Learn to record all instances of missed and added items during the bulk operation in the miss/addon log.
10. Learn to provide and maintain productive workflow.
11. Possess good communication skills as you will be hands on with assisting to train new associates.
12. Enforce adherence to safety practices among employees. (Seat Belts, Safety Vests, Safety Shoes, etc.)
13. Be willing to acquire knowledge and skills in the areas of current supervisors as a backup plan. This includes providing coverage during weekends and in the absence of the supervisor due to vacation or other reasons. The Team Lead position serves as a training tool for future supervisors provided, they meet the requirements.
14. Learn how to use the WhatsApp to communicate with client regarding their requests. Also learn the basics of Microsoft office. (word, excel)
15. Be available on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) if needed due to production. This will be a rotating schedule 1 weekend on, 1 weekend off split with the supervisor.
16. Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
17. Assist the material clerk or repack supervisor in resolving material issues. This may involve troubleshooting problems, Adjusting inventory concerns, resolving part-related issues, and managing raw and FG. The selected Team Lead candidate will receive comprehensive training to fulfill all the responsibilities.
