Responsibilities of the Category Manager - Marketing Procurement:
- Support the Global Category Procurement team in deploying global strategies where applicable
- Analyze category spend and identify opportunities and sub-categories for optimization
- Develop regional category strategies within the defined scope
- Lead regional sourcing initiatives or develop best practices, tools, and processes to enable more efficient investment across regions and markets
- Collaborate closely with key senior global, regional, and local stakeholders, as well as procurement teams, to deliver efficiencies
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in Marketing & Sales Procurement
- Proven track record in category strategy development, spend optimization, execution and project management
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Solid financial acumen, with expertise in business case development and ROI analysis
