V7 Recruitment are working with a leading data centre delivery specialist to recruit an experienced Lead Project Planner to join their growing project team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex construction projects, supporting the development and delivery of project programmes from planning through to completion.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Package Managers, design teams and subcontractors to ensure projects remain on programme and risks are identified and managed proactively.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex construction projects, supporting the development and delivery of project programmes from planning through to completion.
You will work closely with Project Managers, Package Managers, design teams and subcontractors to ensure projects remain on programme and risks are identified and managed proactively.
What's on Offer?
- Up to $100,000 DOE
- Opportunity to work on major data centre and critical infrastructure projects.
- Weekly Subsistence: £160 net per week while based in the UK.
- Accommodation: Single-occupancy accommodation.
- Rotation Options: Flexible 1-week or 2-week rotation schedules, designed to support regular travel home.
- Annual Leave: 21 days’ paid annual leave plus 8 paid public holidays.
- Health & Wellbeing: £150 annual health membership subsidy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
- Support planning activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor progress and identify programme risks and delays.
- Coordinate programmes with Project Managers, Package Managers, design teams and subcontractors.
- Prepare and update short- and long-term construction programmes.
- Track project milestones and report on programme performance.
- Attend planning, progress and project review meetings.
- Analyse critical paths and identify opportunities for programme optimisation.
- Review subcontractor programmes and ensure alignment with the overall project schedule.
- Prepare regular progress reports and schedule updates.
- Support programme inputs for claims and variations.
- Maintain accurate planning documentation and assist with resolving scheduling issues.
About You
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- 4+ years' project planning experience within construction or engineering.
- Experience developing and managing construction programmes.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar planning software.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Good understanding of construction sequencing and project delivery.
- Experience within data centre, industrial or mission-critical projects would be advantageous.
