Are you an experienced SAP Solution Architect with a proven track record delivering large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs?

We are partnering with a large Queensland organisation undertaking a significant SAP modernisation initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future-state SAP landscape as the organisation transitions from SAP ECC6 to SAP S/4HANA using a Bluefield migration approach.

About the Role

As the SAP Solution Architect, you will provide functional architecture leadership across a complex SAP transformation program. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will assess the current SAP environment, define the future-state solution architecture, and lead business process transformation to ensure a successful migration.

This is a hands-on consulting role that requires both strategic thinking and practical delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the functional solution architecture for an SAP ECC to S/4HANA transformation.
• Define future-state business processes aligned with SAP best practice.
• Assess existing SAP ECC configurations, customisations and business processes.
• Lead fit-to-standard workshops and make retain, redesign or retire recommendations.
• Define the functional scope for Selective Data Transition (Bluefield migration).
• Develop data migration rules, mapping and business transformation requirements.
• Collaborate with business, technical and vendor teams throughout the program lifecycle.
• Support testing, business validation, cutover planning and post-go-live stabilisation.
• Identify functional risks, gaps and remediation strategies.
• Produce high-quality architecture and design documentation.

About You

You will be an experienced SAP Solution Architect with extensive SAP S/4HANA transformation experience and a strong understanding of enterprise business processes.

You'll ideally bring:

• Extensive experience delivering SAP Solution Architecture across large enterprise environments.
• Proven experience leading SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Bluefield migration or Selective Data Transition.
• Deep functional expertise across SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM and SD.
• Experience leading business process transformation and fit-to-standard workshops.
• Strong understanding of SAP data migration, mapping and business data requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills.
• Experience supporting testing, cutover and business readiness activities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Highly Regarded

• SAP S/4HANA certifications.
• Experience within government, transport, infrastructure or other large, complex organisations.
• Experience delivering enterprise-wide SAP transformation programs across multiple business units.
