A community-owned, nonprofit healthcare system is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support Emergency Departments, hospital services, and clinics across Fergus Falls and Elbow Lake, Minnesota.


Position Highlights:
  • Full- or part-time Enterprise Float opportunity
  • Support EDs, hospital services, clinics, and a walk-in clinic across the enterprise
  • Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care APP experience required
  • Sole coverage in one rural ED with Avera tele-support currently in place
  • ED volume averages ~3–4 patient encounters per shift
  • Average ED acuity of 3.5 on the 1–5 ESI scale
  • Support hospitalist team with inpatient, swing bed, and observation care as needed
  • Provide consistent, flexible ED and walk-in clinic coverage
  • EPIC EMR
  • Work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • NP or PA-C from an accredited institution
  • Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care APP experience
  • ACLS certification
  • Active Minnesota medical license and DEA upon hire
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Guaranteed base salary starting at $150K annually for the first 2 years
