Pay: $20-$25 hour | Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, forklift operation, and product preparation in a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, comfortable working independently, and able to accurately handle paperwork, measurements, and product documentation.
Schedule
6:00 PM – 6:00 AM | 7 days on / 7 days off
This is a rotating 12-hour schedule:
- Work 7 consecutive days, followed by 7 consecutive days off
- Because the 7-day work rotation crosses the weekly payroll period, scheduled hours alternate between approximately 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
- You will still receive a weekly paycheck
What You'll Do
- Follow all site requirements for food safety, health and safety, GMP, and PPE
- Work safely in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Operate a forklift to move palletized products, totes, and materials
- Operate other material-handling equipment as needed
- Receive and document incoming shipments, including bulk and palletized products
- Inspect incoming packages for damage or improper documentation
- Inspect incoming bulk tankers for proper washing and required documentation
- Prepare, document, and ship transfer trucks containing bulk and palletized products
- Maintain accurate and organized shipment records
- Use email to communicate with the operations team
- Print labels and documentation for orders and batch manufacturing
- Package and label 55-gallon drums and product totes
- Prepare pallets of 55-gallon drums using steel straps and shipping labels
- Safely set up bulk liquid transfers using hoses and pumps
- Blend products in tanks, totes, and drums by accurately measuring multiple liquid and solid components according to batch tickets
- Collect samples to support product formulation and quality requirements
- Clean up spills using absorbent materials and sump pumps
- Perform basic mathematical calculations and measurements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow established procedures for handling, packaging, transferring, and storing products
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, material handling, or similar experience preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
- Ability to accurately read and follow batch tickets, shipping documents, labels, and written instructions
- Comfortable performing basic math and measurements
- Ability to use email and basic computer functions
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Ability to safely handle hoses, pumps, drums, totes, and other material-handling equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety and following established procedures
- Ability to work a 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 7-on/7-off schedule
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
