We are currently recruiting on behalf of a busy and expanding client based in Newbridge, Co. Kildare for an experienced Payroll Officer to join their finance team on a 12-month contract basis
This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and is looking to further develop their experience within a growing organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and within strict deadlines
- Managing a high-volume payroll function of 400+ employees
- Ensuring compliance with all current payroll legislation and Revenue requirements
- Handling payroll queries in a professional and timely manner
- Maintaining payroll records and employee data accurately
- Preparing payroll reports and supporting finance-related reporting requirements
- Assisting with accounts administration duties as required
- Supporting the wider finance team and reporting directly to the Finance Business Partner
- Working closely with HR and management teams to ensure smooth payroll operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a high-volume payroll environment is essential
- IPASS qualification is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, procedures, and compliance
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including reporting and data analysis
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Accounts administration experience would be advantageous
