We are looking for UV Coater Operators to work in a local company, operating UV coating machines to apply finishes to printed products while ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Typical duties include:

  • Operate UV coating machines to apply finishes according to job specs
  • Monitor production quality (finish, alignment, gloss level, defects)
  • Load and unload materials (paper, cards, printed sheets) into the machine
  • Maintain production schedules and meet deadlines
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to prevent downtime
  • Record production data and report issues
  • Troubleshoot machine problems and adjust for efficiency/waste reduction

Skills & Requirements

  • Basic mechanical aptitude (understanding machines)
  • Attention to detail and quality control
  • Ability to read job tickets/specifications
  • Experience with printing or finishing equipment (preferred)
  • Physical ability to stand, lift materials, and work in a production setting
  • Knowledge of coatings, inks, or print processes is a plus
