Accountant

We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and career focused accountant to join our Adelaide team. 

We are a medium sized well respected accounting firm based in the south eastern corner of the Adelaide city square and Murray Bridge.  We have a reputation for delivering the highest level of professional service and innovative solutions to meet the changing needs of our clients whilst building and maintaining strong relationships.

You will enjoy working with a diverse range of business clients with responsibilities including the preparation of financial statements, BAS and income tax returns for all entities including companies, trusts and superannuation funds.  You will predominantly be running files from start to finish and will therefore need to have the ability to identify, understand and apply positive outcomes with a sound legislative basis.  The ability to also maintain relationships with clients based on results, trust and service excellence is paramount.

This position requires a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a public practice. Whilst being CA/CPA qualified is preferable, it is not necessary as the right capabilities and attitude will be given priority. You will be proficient in Xero, MYOB and other cloud-based software.   We are looking for an individual with impeccable work ethic along with a hands on and proactive approach to their work.   You must possess excellent communication skills, have strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and enjoy working in a team environment.
