Our client is a major metropolitan health service in Melbourne, recognised for delivering a broad spectrum of high-quality healthcare services. The Role
Reporting to the Head of Donor Engagement, you will assist with donation administration processes, including data entry, financial processing, record maintenance, banking, and donor receipting activities. You will also be responsible to;
- Manage general donor enquiries via email, mail, phone and in-person
- Accurate recording of donor information within the donor management system
- Assist the finance team with the generation of monthly financial reconciliation reports
- Coordinate the day-to-day administration of donations, ensuring the efficient processing, batching and enquiry resolution
- Oversee invoice processing activities including the timely follow-up of outstanding invoices
- Assist with the timely processing and acknowledgement of In Memoriam donations
Skills Required
You will have demonstrated experience managing and maintaining donor databases along with previous experience within not-for-profit environments, and you will also have the following;
- Proven capability in database administration and data cleansing
- Understanding of fundraising revenue streams and operations
- Strong communication skills, enabling effective engagement with donors and key stakeholders
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a high level of accuracy across all tasks
- Excellent administration skills, including invoicing and financial reconciliations
- Desirable to have experience with digital fundraising platforms and Salesforce is highly regarded
