Site Engineer (Civil's)

FRS Recruitment are working with an established Civil Engineering Contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer for projects across Limerick and West Cork.

The company has a strong pipeline of work across the Munster region, delivering major water, wastewater and civil infrastructure projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer looking to take on greater responsibility while developing further exposure to elements of Project Management and Project Co-ordination. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Project Managers and site teams throughout project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out setting out, levels and engineering checks.
• Coordinate subcontractors, labour and daily site activities.
• Support Project Managers with planning and project delivery.
• Review drawings, specifications and relevant technical information.
• Maintain accurate site records and engineering documentation.
• Assist with quality control and project compliance requirements.
• Liaise with site teams, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Support safe and efficient delivery of site works.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related discipline.
• 2+ years' relevant civil engineering experience, ideally in Ireland or the UK
• Strong setting out and general site engineering experience.
• Total Stations & GPS experience are highly desirable.
• Water, wastewater or utilities experience would be advantageous.
• Strong communication and site co-ordination skills required.
• Full Irish driving licence required

• €55,000 – €65,000 salary, depending on experience.
