Concrete Finisher

Nesco Resource is hiring Concrete Finishers!

We are seeking experienced Concrete Finishers for full-time opportunities in a precast concrete manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for placing, finishing, repairing, and inspecting concrete surfaces to ensure precast products meet required quality and appearance standards.

Responsibilities

• Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete used in precast products.
• Use hand trowels, power trowels, floats, screeds, edgers, grinders, and other concrete finishing tools.
• Smooth and finish concrete surfaces according to specifications.
• Remove excess concrete and ensure proper elevations, edges, and finishes.
• Perform patching, grinding, rubbing, and repair work on finished precast products.
• Repair cracks, chips, voids, air pockets, and other surface imperfections.
• Assist with preparing and cleaning forms and molds before concrete placement.
• Apply release agents and other materials as required.
• Assist with concrete placement, vibration, and consolidation to eliminate air pockets and voids.
• Read measurements, production drawings, and specifications.
• Inspect finished products for surface quality and workmanship.
• Work around cranes, forklifts, concrete mixers, and other production equipment.
• Clean and maintain finishing tools and work areas.
• Follow all required PPE, OSHA, and company safety procedures.
• Assist with additional precast concrete production duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous concrete finishing, precast concrete, construction, or concrete production experience preferred.
• Experience using trowels, floats, screeds, grinders, and other concrete finishing tools.
• Knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, curing, and repair techniques.
• Ability to identify and repair concrete surface defects.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow specifications.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working around concrete, dust, noise, heavy equipment, and varying temperatures.
• Strong attendance, reliability, and attention to quality.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or textile experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move materials as needed.
