Network Solutions Architect / Senior Network Engineer


My client is looking for a highly experienced Network Solutions Architect / Senior Network Engineer who combines deep technical knowledge with the ability to sit in front of customers and make complex technology understandable.

You may be an experienced senior engineer, solutions architect or technical consultant who has spent many years designing networks, completing feasibility work and understanding how complex technology environments fit together.

You don't need to be a salesperson.

In fact, the credibility that comes from being an experienced technical professional who genuinely understands the customer's environment is exactly what we're looking for.

Key Responsibilities

• Work directly with corporate and enterprise customers to understand their environments.
• Undertake technical discovery and feasibility assessments.
• Design network and connectivity solutions.
• Understand how complex network, security and infrastructure components fit together.
• Work alongside BDMs and Account Managers during customer engagements.
• Develop technically robust solutions appropriate to customer requirements.
• Explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist customers who may not fully understand their existing network environment.
• Support solution development, proposals and technical presentations.
• Provide technical credibility during major customer opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with Feenix's wider engineering team.

My clients customers often rely heavily on its engineers to help them understand how complex solutions should be constructed, making this role an important part of both customer delivery and the commercial process.

Technical Background Ideally you'll have significant experience across:

• Enterprise network architecture and design.
• LAN/WAN and enterprise connectivity.
• Network security and associated infrastructure.
• Solution architecture.
• Technical feasibility and solution design.
• Complex enterprise environments.
• Customer-facing technical consulting.

Cisco CCNP/CCIE-level capability or equivalent would be highly regarded.

What Will Make You Stand Out Technical capability alone isn't enough.

We're looking for someone who can take something complicated and make it simple for the customer.

You'll be technically confident without needing to prove you're the smartest person in the room. You'll be able to explain solutions respectfully and clearly without making customers — or other engineers — feel uncomfortable or out of their depth.
