Role
Working at the heart of conflicts, ethics, and compliance, you will assess new and existing business and advise senior stakeholders on conflicts of interest, AML/KYC obligations, client and matter risk, contractual terms, and wider regulatory considerations.
Beyond the day-to-day, you will contribute to process improvements, support the development of team capability, and help strengthen a sound compliance culture across the business.
Skills and Experience
- Around 4–5 years of experience in conflicts, compliance, or risk management, ideally within a law firm or professional services environment
- Solid working knowledge of conflicts frameworks, AML/KYC requirements, and client intake processes
- Experience advising on panel terms, contractual arrangements, and client matter risk assessments
- Sound judgment and the confidence to advise senior stakeholders on complex, sensitive issues
- Discretion and professionalism when handling confidential or commercially sensitive matters
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- A collaborative approach and a willingness to support those around you
- A legal qualification is a bonus, but hands-on experience is what matters most.
