The Role
Joining a well regarded General Insurance practice in Sydney, the successful candidate will work across a range of motor vehicle property damage, recovery and insurance litigation matters.
This role offers the opportunity to manage files, interact directly with clients and develop practical litigation skills within a collaborative and high performing team.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of motor vehicle property damage and recovery matters appropriate to experience level
  • Assist in progressing litigation matters from commencement through to resolution
  • Draft correspondence, pleadings, advices and other legal documents
  • Review evidence and assess legal and factual issues
  • Contribute to matter strategy and dispute resolution outcomes
  • Provide practical and commercially focused advice to clients
  • Attend court appearances, mediations and other dispute resolution processes
  • Brief and liaise with Counsel
  • Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to team objectives
