Senior Technical Engineer - Microsoft Specialist

The Role

We're looking for a Senior Technical Engineer who's equal parts technical powerhouse and trusted advisor. You'll be the go-to expert for Microsoft solutions, owning delivery, shaping strategy, and helping grow the Microsoft practice. This isn't a keep-the-lights-on role. You'll be making meaningful decisions and leaving a real mark on how this team operates and grows.

What You'll Be Doing

• Delivering Microsoft solutions across M365, SharePoint Online, and Azure for a range of established clients
• Serving as a trusted technical advisor in client engagements, from workshops and pre-sales meetings through to solution go-live
• Acting as the senior escalation point for complex Microsoft platform issues and seeing them through to resolution
• Mentoring a growing team of engineers and contributing to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
• Collaborating with leadership to shape the Microsoft practice strategy and turn that vision into action on the ground

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft expertise across M365, SharePoint, and Azure, you know these platforms.
• Senior-level technical delivery experience in a Microsoft-focused IT services or consulting environment, with a track record of complex project ownership end-to-end
• Strategic thinking with execution, you can zoom out to see the big picture and zoom back in to get things done; you translate vision into tangible deliverables
• Strong communication skills, confident in pre-sales meetings, requirements gathering, and building trust with clients across varying levels of technical understanding
• Natural mentor and team player, you lift the people around you, share knowledge freely, and lead by example 

Microsoft certifications (M365 Enterprise Admin Expert, Azure Solutions Architect, etc.) are highly regarded. Bonus points for PowerShell scripting and DevOps/automation experience.
