Overview

We are seeking an experienced EHS Lead to join a major data centre project in Frankfurt for the main contractor. We requires a strong safety leader to drive best-in-class Environmental, Health & Safety standards across the site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all EHS activities on site for the data centre project
  • Ensure full compliance with local German regulations, EU directives, and company policies
  • Develop, implement, and maintain site-specific EHS plans and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Promote a strong safety culture through training and engagement
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure consistent EHS standards
  • Report on EHS performance to senior management
  • Requirements
  • Proven experience as an EHS Lead / Manager on large-scale construction projects (data centre experience highly desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations (EU/Germany preferred)
  • Relevant EHS qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders on a fast-paced project
