Chief Executive Officer

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Chief Executive to lead a sizeable, multi-site operational business through its next stage of performance and growth. Reporting to an engaged Board, you will build on a strong platform by driving operational excellence, improving profitability, embedding accountability and delivering against a clearly defined strategic plan.
This is a role for a commercially astute leader who thrives in complex, asset-intensive service environments.

The Opportunity
As CEO, you will provide clear strategic and operational leadership across a national business with multiple business units, significant frontline operations and long-term customer relationships.
Your mandate is clear:

• Build scale while maintaining operational control.
• Improve productivity, utilisation and financial performance.
• Create a culture of accountability and high performance.
• Execute strategy with consistency and discipline.
• Position the business for sustainable long-term growth.

You will work closely with the Board and executive leadership team to ensure strategic priorities translate into measurable operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the strategic plan through disciplined execution and measurable outcomes.
• Drive operational efficiency, continuous improvement and productivity across the organisation.
• Improve EBITDA, cash generation and return on invested capital.
• Develop scalable systems, processes and performance disciplines.
• Maintain a relentless focus on customer service and operational excellence.
• Build strong relationships with major customers, regulators, government agencies and other key stakeholders.
• Foster a culture centred on safety, accountability, performance and continuous improvement.

About You
You are an experienced Chief Executive or General Manager with a track record of leading large operational businesses through periods of growth and transformation.
You will bring:

• Demonstrated success leading complex, multi-site operations.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Experience improving operational efficiency and organisational performance.
• A proven ability to scale businesses while maintaining operational discipline.
• The ability to build high-performing executive teams.
• Strong governance capability and experience working closely with Boards.
• A pragmatic, hands-on leadership style with a focus on accountability and delivery.
