Job Title: Registered General Nurse- Home Support.

Adults and Children

Job Location: Carlow, Kilkenny

Hours: Monday to Sunday 8pm to 8am

Full time and Part shifts available.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide excellent evidenced based nursing care and implement all aspects of the care plans based on the needs identified.
• To prioritise the needs and comforts of the client.
• To promote abilities, independence and to safeguard the client's interest at all times.
• Work closely in partnership with family members and clinical supervision team.
• Communicate effectively with client, family, clinical team & MDT reporting on client’s clinical needs as required.
• Maintain accurate and professional clinical notes.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current registration on live register of NMBI.
• RCN/RGN Trained.
• Pediatric nurse experience desirable.
• Previous experience in home care is an advantage, full training and support is provided to all candidates.
• Airway management/Medication management
