Finance Manager

EMEA Recruitment is working with a rapidly growing international software organization in its search for a Finance Manager to join its expanding finance team in Amsterdam.

As the business continues to grow through acquisition across Europe, this is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing and developing the finance function in the Netherlands.

Working closely with international finance leadership, you will oversee financial reporting, business partnering, budgeting and process improvement, while supporting the integration of newly acquired businesses into the wider group.

This position is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to make a genuine impact within a growing international business.

This is a hybrid position based in Amsterdam.

Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:

• Lead the month-end close process for a portfolio of operating companies, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with Dutch GAAP
• Review balance sheet reconciliations, revenue recognition and key financial controls to ensure the accuracy of financial information
• Partner with operational and finance stakeholders to prepare budgets, forecasts and management reporting
• Analyze financial performance and KPIs, providing commercial insight to support business decisions
• Support the integration of newly acquired businesses, including finance process alignment and systems implementation
• Develop and improve finance processes and Standard Operating Procedures to increase efficiency and consistency
• Ensure audit readiness by maintaining accurate financial records and supporting both internal and external audit requirements
• Work closely with international finance teams to support finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects
• Mentor and support finance team members where required, helping to maintain a high-performing finance function

Experience required:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• RA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent accounting qualification
• 5+ years' experience within Financial Management, Accounting or a similar commercial finance role
• Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP and statutory reporting requirements
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts and management reporting
• Previous experience working within an international or multi-entity organization would be advantageous
• Experience supporting acquisitions or post-merger integrations would be beneficial
• NetSuite experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across international teams
• Proactive, organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a growing business
