Apply directWe are seeking an experienced Staff Product Manager to lead Buyer Experience product initiatives focused on improving the shopping journey for customizable and personalized products across web and mobile platforms.
In this role, you will define the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for a unique shopping experience that enables customers to personalize products and collaborate with sellers or creators throughout the purchasing journey.
This is a highly cross-functional position operating in an evolving product space with significant ambiguity. You will partner closely with Engineering, Design, Research, Analytics, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities, validate solutions through experimentation, and deliver customer-centric experiences that drive engagement and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for buyer experiences across web and mobile applications.
- Lead product discovery efforts to identify customer pain points and uncover new opportunities.
- Develop and prioritize initiatives that improve personalization and customization throughout the shopping experience.
- Design, execute, and analyze product experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize customer outcomes.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Research, Analytics, Legal, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
- Coordinate product development across multiple platforms while maintaining a unified product strategy.
- Establish product success metrics and measurement frameworks in areas where KPIs are still evolving.
- Communicate product strategy, priorities, and progress effectively to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Adapt product plans as priorities evolve while maintaining focus on delivering customer value.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record leading complex, ambiguous product initiatives.
- Experience building consumer-facing digital products, preferably within e-commerce, marketplace, retail, or similar customer-centric platforms.
- Strong background in product discovery, customer research, and data-informed decision making.
- Experience designing, executing, and evaluating A/B tests and experimentation strategies.
- Demonstrated success delivering products across both web and mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
- Excellent cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to influence teams without direct authority.
- Experience defining product strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics in emerging or undefined product areas.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including creating product requirements, strategic documentation, and executive presentations.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with changing priorities and evolving business needs.
