Property Consultant

The Company

Are you passionate about property, enjoy working with people, and have a natural ability to build relationships?

Our client is looking for a motivated Property Consultant to join their Christchurch team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people bring their dream home to life, from the initial conversation through to the final building agreement.

You'll work with clients to understand their needs, guide them through the design and build process, and help them find the right solution for their lifestyle and budget.

The Role

• Building relationships with prospective clients and understanding their new home requirements.
• Managing leads and following up with potential buyers to convert enquiries into sales.
• Working with clients to explore house plans, designs, specifications and building options.
• Preparing proposals and building agreements, ensuring clients understand the process.
• Working alongside internal teams, including design, estimating and construction, to deliver a smooth customer experience.
• Developing relationships with land developers, real estate agents and other referral partners.
• Keeping up to date with the local property market and identifying new business opportunities.
• Managing your sales pipeline and working towards agreed sales targets.
• We're keen to hear from people who are confident, personable and commercially minded, with a genuine interest in property and new home sales.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Experience in sales, property, real estate, construction or a customer-facing role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive approach to generating leads and following up opportunities.
• Confidence negotiating, presenting options and working towards sales targets.
• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities.
• A genuine interest in residential property, design and the new-build process.

Experience in design and build or residential construction would be an advantage, but the right attitude, drive and ability to build relationships are just as important.
