We’re seeking Senior HR Advisor to join Our Clients Brisbane Office, supporting a large mining operation with practical HR advice, hands-on support, and room to grow. This role requires regular travel to and from their sites in North Queensland and is a great career opportunity! 

You’ll work closely with the Wider HR Team and Onsite Employees. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in HR within the Mining industry looking to step into a more autonomous role and also grow your career while still having strong HR leadership around you.
  
What you’ll be doing:

• Provide day-to-day HR support to supervisors and team leads
• Support and coordinate investigations, performance processes, and compliance matters
• Help drive recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives
• Maintain HR documentation and assist with reporting/metrics
• Support employee engagement and people systems improvement
• Liaise with corporate HR and Talent teams for alignment
• Support Site Management with HR Advice and Support

What we’re looking for:

• Previous HR experience in mining or heavy industry environments
• Comfortable working onsite and independently when needed
• Understanding of award interpretation and Fair Work obligations
• Strong understanding of Employee Relations & HR functions
• Tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline
