1st Shift - Fabricator

Pay: Up to $30/hr. Job Summary Are you an experienced Welder/Fabricator looking for a hands-on opportunity in a smaller custom fabrication shop? We're seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join a growing team in Detroit. In this role, you'll work on custom fabrication and assembly projects while helping produce quality work for established customers. What You'll Be Doing As a Welder/Fabricator, your core responsibilities will include: Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication work on custom projects according to specifications. Custom Assembly: Fabricate and assemble components for signage, booths, and other custom projects. Quality Work: Ensure completed work meets the expected quality and specifications. Independent Work: Stay productive and organized while working with a small team and limited direct supervision. In addition, you will also be expected to assist with general shop duties as needed and maintain a clean and organized work area. What We're Looking For To be successful in this role, you should have the following: Qualifications: Previous welding and fabrication experience. Experience working in a custom or job shop environment is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Skills: Welding Fabrication: Ability to perform quality hands-on welding and fabrication work. Must be able to work off blueprints. Attention to Detail: Able to carefully measure, fit, and complete custom work to specifications. Independence: Comfortable working independently and staying productive without a supervisor constantly present. Why Join Us?
