Process Operators - Fixed Plant

South West Personnel continues to work with local valued clients who are seeking quality Process Operators to work within their operational facilities.  These opportunities provide potential for permanency for best fit casual workers.

Application is now OPEN for quality candidates who have an interest in working as all-rounders within a production environment assisting with fixed plant tasks such as monitoring and controlling crushers, conveyors and processing circuits. 

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the plant and must be able to work autonomously as well as part of the crew.  Typical tasks associated with routine fixed plant work may include:

• The safe, efficient extraction, processing or manufacturing of raw materials, often working on rotating shift rosters in mining and manufacturing facilities.
• Operational tasks of fixed pant to ensure safe production targets are met.
• Conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting issues and optimising plant performance.
• Routine housekeeping, clean up and operation al support such as minor maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

• Priority to workplace safety, following and contributing to safe working practices.
• Understanding of heavy industrial fixed plant operations.
• Current WA drivers licence – HR, advantageous.
• High Risk Forklift licence – LF, highly desirable.
• Certificate in Process Plant Operations, well regarded.
