Leasing Consultant - Ventura County

Our Woodland Hills team seeks a motivated and personable Leasing Consultant to help us continue our tradition of excellence in affordable housing. You will be the face of our property, responsible for creating a positive experience for potential and current residents. Your role is crucial in maintaining high occupancy levels, promoting our properties, and ensuring resident satisfaction. Job Duties
Greet and assist prospective residents: Provide property tours and showcase available units, focusing on low-income housing benefits. Answering phone calls, greeting tenants, taking messages, and helping staff with different needs.

Respond to inquiries: Follow up to convert leads into leases
Stay informed: Maintain knowledge of market conditions, property values, and housing regulations.
Build relationships: Address current residents' needs and concerns promptly.

Inspect property: Ensure it remains clean and well-maintained.

Market the property: Assist with online listings, social media promotions, and community outreach.

Participate in events: Foster community and enhance resident satisfaction.

Experience:
Minimum 6 months or 1 year in leasing/property management.

Specialized knowledge: Yardi, Appfolio, or Rent cafe.

Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; sales-driven with a customer-focused approach.
Organizational abilities: Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks.

Technical skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; property management software experience is a plus.
Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in real estate or business administration is a plus.
