Day Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (30 minute unpaid lunch)
Pay: $19.00 per hour


 Job Summary

The Loader Machine Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating an automated robotic system that feeds eggs into the grading machine. This position ensures smooth production by monitoring equipment performance, responding to alarms, performing basic troubleshooting, and working closely with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor the robotic loading system, conveyors, sensors, and related equipment to ensure consistent product flow.

  • Respond to equipment alarms, stoppages, and operating issues; perform basic resets and troubleshooting as needed.

  • Identify mechanical or system problems and communicate issues to maintenance promptly.

  • Perform routine equipment inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area.

  • Remove broken eggs, debris, and buildup that could affect equipment or sensor performance.

  • Work with production personnel to maintain a steady supply of product to the loading system.

  • Follow all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements, including HACCP, FDA, and SQF standards.

  • Follow required safety procedures, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout practices.

  • Accurately complete production records, logs, and required documentation.

  • Assist with training employees on proper operation and monitoring of the robotic loading system.

  • Support production goals by helping maintain equipment efficiency and reduce downtime.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Previous experience in machine operation, manufacturing, food production, or packaging is preferred.

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and recognize equipment, product-quality, and safety concerns.

  • Basic math skills and the ability to accurately complete production documentation.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work safely and effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.

  • Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.

  • Ability to wear required PPE and perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.

  • Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 pounds with assistance or approved equipment.

  • Comfortable working around moving machinery and in environments that may be noisy, wet, or subject to temperature changes.

  • Must follow all safety, food-safety, and PPE requirements.

Shift Options & Scheduling:

  • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
  • Initial Training: Employees will be trained on 1st shift but must have the flexibility to transition to 2nd or 3rd as business needs change

  • Must be available to work overtime as needed.

  • Schedule flexibility is required based on production and business needs.
