WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT

  • Serve as a Power User and technical lead for the company’s incentive compensation management platform
  • Design, configure, and maintain models and workflows within Varicent to ensure accurate and efficient commission processing
  • Collaborate with HR, IT, Sales, and Finance to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
  • Support the ongoing evolution of incentive programs through data modeling, logic development, and reporting enhancements
  • Identify process improvements and automation opportunities within the commissions infrastructure
  • Partner closely with a senior commissions expert to drive strategic initiatives and ensure compliance with business goals

THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS

  • 3 years of hands-on experience with incentive compensation tools such as Varicent, Xactly, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, business logic, and workflow configuration
  • Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with logical functions and formulas
  • Experience writing basic queries and transforming business requirements into technical specifications
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
