Job Summary
We’re seeking a dependable Robotics Technician to join a growing manufacturing team in Taylor, MI. This position is responsible for operating automated robotic production equipment, monitoring machine performance, loading raw materials, unloading finished products, performing quality inspections, and helping ensure production goals are met safely and efficiently.
This is a production-focused role that works closely with robotic automation systems. It is not a maintenance or programming position.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Robotics Technician, your core responsibilities will include:
Robotic Equipment Operation: Operate and monitor robotic production equipment, load materials into automated systems, unload finished products, and ensure equipment is running efficiently throughout the shift.
Quality Inspection: Perform visual inspections of finished products, verify specifications are met, identify defects, and communicate quality concerns to supervisors or production leadership.
Production Support: Replenish materials, complete production documentation, package finished products, maintain organized workstations, and assist with other manufacturing duties as assigned.
In addition, you will help troubleshoot minor production issues, maintain production flow, and support continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility.
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or production experience required.
- Experience working with automated equipment or robotic production systems preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.
- Strong attendance and reliability.
Skills:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Comfortable working around automated manufacturing equipment and robotic systems.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify quality issues and maintain production standards.
- Problem Solving: Ability to recognize production concerns and communicate them appropriately.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to following all safety procedures and workplace standards.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with production, quality, and leadership teams.
Work Environment
This position is performed in a manufacturing environment utilizing robotic automation and production equipment. Employees should be comfortable standing for extended periods, performing repetitive tasks, and working in a fast-paced production setting.
