Our client, a well-established international manufacturer, is seeking a Customer Service Agent to join their experienced and customer-focused team based in Midleton, Co. Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong customer service background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering a high standard of support. The successful candidate will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience across a range of international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high level of customer service and support.
  • Respond to customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Adhere to customer service policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve customer satisfaction targets.
  • Manage customer queries and requests from start to finish.
  • Maintain accurate records using ERP and customer service systems.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure efficient resolution of issues.
  • Prioritise workload effectively and manage multiple tasks.
  • Support the wider team with additional duties as required.

Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years' experience in a customer service role.
  • Previous experience working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems; JD Edwards experience would be a distinct advantage.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • German and/or French language skills would be a distinct advantage but are not essential.
