Senior Program Manager Federal Government client is seeking an experienced Head of Cyber Programs to lead the strategic delivery of a high-profile cyber capability and international cooperation program. This senior leadership role is responsible for program governance, stakeholder engagement, contract and financial management, and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex cyber initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic delivery of a complex cyber program.
- Oversee program governance, risk, reporting and performance.
- Manage multimillion-dollar budgets, contracts and procurement activities.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams delivering cyber capability initiatives.
- Engage with senior government, industry and international stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice to senior executives on program direction and delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement across program management practices.
Essential Experience
- Extensive experience leading large, complex cyber or digital transformation programs.
- Strong program governance, financial and contract management skills.
- Experience working with senior government and executive stakeholders.
- Demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent strategic planning, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desirable
- Experience delivering cyber security, critical technology or digital capability programs.
- Experience in Australian Government or other highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of international or multi-stakeholder program delivery.
Security Clearance
- Negative Vetting Level 1 (NV1) is required.
- Applicants must be Australian Citizens.
Location
- Canberra, ACT
- Primarily office-based.
Contract
- Initial 12-month contract
- 12-month extension option
- Full-time engagement (37.5 hours per week).
