A leading academic healthcare environment in western West Virginia, near the Ohio and Kentucky borders, is seeking a BC/BE Breast Surgeon to join its team as a full-time faculty/attending physician

Position Highlights:

  • Full-time Breast Surgeon opportunity
  • Provide breast surgical oncology care as a faculty/attending physician
  • Participate in the care of patients across affiliated healthcare facilities
  • Supervise and provide clinical instruction to medical students, residents and fellows
  • Teaching opportunities in general surgery, breast surgical oncology and related disciplines
  • Participate in inpatient and outpatient clinical rounds
  • Present at one or more Medical Grand Rounds annually
  • Collaborative academic environment with opportunities to contribute to physician education

Qualifications:
  • MD or professional equivalent medical degree
  • Completion of a minimum 12-month fellowship in Breast Surgery or Breast Surgical Oncology
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
  • Eligible for medical licensure in West Virginia
