Shipping Clerk

Job Description:

These tasks will primarily be computer-based and will include face-to-face interaction with haulers and drivers, including printing tickets for orders. The individual will work closely with loaders to print pick tickets in advance and ensure orders are properly staged prior to truck arrival.

The position will also coordinate with the clerk at the other warehouse location to ensure product transfers, redistributed orders, and inventory movements between locations are completed efficiently and accurately.

The schedule will be 6:00 AM5:00 PM, with potential Saturday work as needed. The individual will also provide support to production by printing necessary tickets and stickers and assisting with inventory movements and system updates as needed.

Depending on operational needs, vacations, or employee call-outs, the individual may be required to work at either the plant or the nearby warehouse location. Reliable transportation is required due to the potential for working at either location.

Skills/Experience:

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE.
• Forklift experience is not required but is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with drivers, haulers, loaders, and production personnel.
