Overview
Join a global fashion organisation as a Senior Color Manager – Raw Materials, leading regional color operations across Asia. This role plays a critical part in ensuring color quality, approval efficiency, and supplier performance, working closely with internal stakeholders and external mills to support business objectives in a fast‑paced, international environment.
A typical day will include the following:
1. Color Leadership & Operations
- Lead and manage the Asia Color team, driving performance against approval turn‑time and first‑round approval targets
- Oversee hands‑on color evaluation and approvals, ensuring consistency with color standards
- Ensure all color lab facilities, standards, and approval histories are properly maintained
2. Supplier & Stakeholder Management
- Lead Color Empowerment Programs to develop and accredit potential suppliers
- Evaluate supplier color performance and drive corrective actions with underperforming partners
- Work closely with internal regional teams (US / HK) and external mills and factories on all color‑related matters
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Degree or Diploma in Coloration, Textile Chemistry, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of relevant experience in color and print approval, with at least 3 years in a senior managerial role
- Strong technical expertise in coloring, dyestuff characteristics, and printing techniques
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of color specialists
- Solid understanding of color approval processes within MNC / US buying office environments
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; PLM experience is an advantage
