Lifting Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities 

• Reports to the Construction Manager 

• To ensure that day to day lifting operations are monitored at an appropriate level. 

• Plan, organize, supervise and liaise closely with sub-contractors and operation teams on all ongoing lifting activities. 

• Perform routine checks and inspections on site to ensure the compliance with authorities’ requirements. 

• Address to concerned party regarding the safety of any lifting operations 

• Provide reports to construction team regularly 

• Liaise closely with HSE team to ensure operations comply with safety standards 

Job Requirements: 

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent 

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the construction field; inclusive of 3 years’ experience in construction and supervision for vehicular structures and road projects (LTA Road / MRT / Viaduct) 

• Technically expert and highly knowledgeable in lifting of heavy structures 

• Candidates with previous experiences in LTA Projects are preferred 

• Attained IES/SHETC Appointed Person for Lifting Operation certification is mandatory for this position 

• This position require to perform night lifting works when necessary. 1 engineer: day shift and 1 engineer: permanent night (hours to be advised) 

• Must attain Appointed lifting person certificate

Candidate must be based in Singapore.
