Job Title: QAQC Manager

Location: Singapore

 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish the quality assurance system in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements and formulate the Project Quality Plan.
  • Develop, review, and revise the Inspection & Test Plan, attend QA/QC meetings, and provide advice on quality control issues.
  • Ensure quality of works aligns with the Quality Management Plan, including method statements, inspection & testing plans, and checklists.
  • Oversee handling, storage, and handover processes of construction materials.
  • Monitor the implementation of the Project Quality and Environmental Plan.
  • Prepare quality plans to meet project and client requirements on QA and QC.
  • Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, and ensure timely close-outs.
  • Witness and approve all site inspections within the assigned disciplines.
  • Follow and complete inspection and test plans to meet contract requirements.
  • Conduct inspections, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Educate team members on QA requirements and procedures.
  • Audit and monitor QA and Environmental systems for effectiveness and compliance.
  • Maintain and manage a non-conformance control system, including issuing and resolving Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Control and verify the status of QC documents and drawings.
  • Ensure all QA/QC control measures are documented, implemented, and auditable.
  • Maintain quality assurance records and conduct periodic job inspections.
  • Verify all quality-related activities comply with industry codes and standards.
  • Work on Day & Night shift operations as required.

 

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electronic, or Mechatronics) in a construction-related field.
  • 6-10 years of experience in quality assurance/control, preferably in structural, civil, or railway engineering.
  • Experience in railway projects, particularly with LTA projects in Singapore, is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9000, 14000, and 18000 standards.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance, environmental compliance, and regulatory standards.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of handling tight deadlines and high-pressure environments.
