FP&A Manager - Business Partner | Luxury Retail | HK & Macau

A strategic finance role partnering closely with business leaders to drive performance, strengthen governance, and support disciplined investment decisions. This position offers broad exposure across planning, analysis, and stakeholder engagement, with the opportunity to influence key initiatives and shape financial outcomes within a dynamic, multi‑faceted environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional or central finance teams to support accurate data flows, timely close cycles, and high‑quality management insights.
• Evaluate and support investment‑related initiatives, including financial assessment of operational expansion or asset deployment and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
• Act as a primary finance and governance partner to assigned business units, supporting disciplined decision‑making and performance accountability.
• Ensure governance standards, internal controls, and compliance practices are consistently applied across all assigned areas.
• Own performance monitoring activities, including preparation of reports and detailed analysis of results against budgets, forecasts, and underlying assumptions.
• Provide financial input into commercial and contractual discussions, working alongside legal and other internal functions as required.
• Lead financial planning and budget management for locally controlled cost and investment areas, aligning financial outcomes with business priorities.
• Support structural, transactional, or market‑level initiatives as they arise.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc analyses and cross‑functional projects in support of broader strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, organisational, and project management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline; professional qualifications are an advantage.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with reporting or data visualisation tools is a plus.
• Ability to assess financial and operational risks, simplify complex topics, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
• Several years of relevant experience in financial planning, controlling, or business partnering roles within complex or multi‑unit environments.
• Proactive, adaptable, and commercially minded, with a strong sense of ownership.
• Comfortable working independently while engaging effectively with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
