HSE Advisor

We are partnering with a leading Tier 1 infrastructure company known for delivering major projects that shape cities and communities. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly skilled team as an HSE Advisor for a large-scale project in Melbourne. These are contract roles, ideal for professionals who are passionate about safety and making a tangible impact on world-class infrastructure.

As part of this project, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, Environment, and Rail Safety (HSE & RS) systems across the project’s lifecycle. You will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure compliance and safety while supporting the team through risk management and safety leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor HSE & RS systems and procedures to ensure compliance throughout the project
• Conduct safety inspections and audits, providing recommendations and solutions to safety issues
• Support the development and implementation of safety plans and risk assessments
• Collaborate with subcontractors to ensure safety requirements are met
• Lead safety initiatives, fostering a positive safety culture across all project teams
• Provide daily HSE support to internal stakeholders and maintain documentation of all safety activities

To Be Successful, You Will Need:

• 3+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector
• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent)
• Strong understanding of HSE management systems and safety regulations
• Experience in conducting audits and risk assessments
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence others in safety matters
• Ability to lead and support safety culture initiatives on large-scale projects
