About the role
As a Warehouse Officer, you will be integral to the operations of the Oakleigh facility. This role is designed for a technically minded individual who enjoys hands-on work and has a trade background. You will engage in a variety of tasks, including warehouse duties, assembly functions, and minor repairs, ensuring that products meet quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct inspections of appliances, ensuring they are ready for distribution
- Perform basic assembly and repairs, including test and tag functions
- Operate a forklift and assist in warehouse management
- Collaborate with the team on various projects, including installation and maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
Skills & experience
- Proven experience in warehouse operations and logistics
- Strong capability in using tools and performing technical tasks
- Demonstrated ability to operate a forklift and manage inventory
