An exceptional opportunity exists to lead workplace and industrial relations strategy for a large, complex enterprise organisation operating in a highly regulated environment.
This is a critical leadership role responsible for shaping enterprise-wide workplace relations strategy, advising senior executives, and ensuring compliance, risk mitigation, and operational excellence across a large national workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise bargaining and collective negotiations
- Develop and execute workplace and industrial relations strategy
- Provide executive-level advice on complex workplace relations matters
- Partner with senior leadership, legal, and HR to manage risk
- Engage with unions and employee representatives
- Lead investigations and dispute resolution
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work legislation, awards, and regulatory requirements
- Develop and strengthen workplace relations frameworks and governance
- Lead and develop workplace relations capability
Requirements
- Senior ER, workplace relations or industrial relations leadership experience
- Experience operating in large, complex, or highly regulated environments
- Proven enterprise bargaining experience
- Strong knowledge of Fair Work Act and industrial frameworks
- Experience engaging with unions and managing disputes
- Executive stakeholder management capability
- Strong commercial and risk-based judgement
- High integrity and confidentiality
