The Opportunity: 
TechForce are seeking experienced Belt Splicers for various rolling shutdowns on several sites with tier 1 clients including BHP, RTIO, FMG
  • FIFO from Perth
  • Flexible arrangements to accommodate a work life balance
  • Competitive rates + weekly pay + nightshift available + permanent 
Duties and tasks:
  • Managing conveyor belt systems and related components, including roller frames, skirting systems, belt cleaner systems, conveyor belt tracking units, and chutes
  • Operating conveyor vulcanizing and belt handling equipment
  • Installing, replacing, and refurbishing rollers and roller frames
  • Handling steel cord, fabric, and woven belts
  • Utilizing knowledge of skirting systems and conveyor structures
  • Demonstrating excellent communication skills, a commitment to safety, self-motivation, and strong work ethic
Job requirements:

Essential:
  • Prior experience as a Belt Splicer
  • Full Australian working rights (Visa, PR etc.)
  • Belt Splicing/Polymer Processing Certificate 
  • Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and Lab DAS
Desirable:
  • MSIC (We can assist you to gain) 
  • Working at Heights ticket & Gas Test Atmospheres ticket
  • Confined Spaces ticket
  • High Risk Work Licence including EWP, Dogging and Rigging (Incentives available to gain these) 
  • Drivers Licence
