Job Functions
- Design, execute, and optimize cell-based and molecular biology experiments with minimal supervision.
- Perform in vitro cellular and drug response assays to support research objectives.
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate experimental data to cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot experimental challenges and adapt protocols as needed.
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and documentation in accordance with established standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary research teams to advance drug discovery programs.
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific discipline with relevant laboratory experience; or a Master's or Ph.D. in a related field.
- 2-5 years of hands-on bench biology experience in an academic or industry laboratory preferred.
- Experience in cancer biology, oncology research, or drug discovery is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently design experiments and solve complex scientific problems.
- Hands-on experience with cell biology and molecular biology techniques.
- Experience performing in vitro cellular assays and drug response assays.
- Strong experimental design, data analysis, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent laboratory documentation and record-keeping practices.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.
- Fully onsite laboratory environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely operate laboratory equipment.
- May occasionally lift up to 20 pounds and work with standard laboratory chemicals and biological materials while following established safety procedures.
