The Opportunity
You will work within a well-established regional service operating across two Emergency Departments and supporting a population of approximately 116,000.
The departments collectively manage around 60,000 presentations annually, with the principal hospital serving as the regional trauma centre. Clinical services include:
You will join a small and inclusive specialist team with experience across toxicology, point-of-care ultrasound, paediatric emergency medicine, disaster and humanitarian medicine, clinical research, palliative care, medical education and administration.
Specialists are encouraged to develop individual portfolios aligned with their skills and interests while contributing to clinical governance, teaching, supervision and service development.
The department offers accredited Emergency Medicine training and provides opportunities to supervise ACEM, RACGP and ACRRM trainees and participate in education and outreach programs supporting more remote communities.

- Obstetrics and gynaecology
- Mental health
- Acute stroke telemedicine
- 24-hour pathology and on-call radiology
You will join a small and inclusive specialist team with experience across toxicology, point-of-care ultrasound, paediatric emergency medicine, disaster and humanitarian medicine, clinical research, palliative care, medical education and administration.

Remuneration and Benefits
- Total remuneration package up to $647,306
- 12% employer superannuation
- 20% Regional Recruitment and Retention Allowance
