This is a 6-month fixed term contract with strong potential for extension, it's perfect for someone ready to step in, add value and make an immediate impact.

Key responsibilities
Reporting to the manager and working in a small close knit team, you will be responsible for;
- Managing a small portfolio of major accounts
- Review account balances and proactively follow up on outstanding payments
- Manage collections in line with agreed payment terms
- Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies
- Accurately allocate customer payments
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding claims
- Maintain detailed and accurate account notes
- Place accounts on credit hold where required and communicate with stakeholders
- Provide back-up support for banking activities
- Supply copy invoices and reconciliations to customers as needed
About you
- Proven experience in accounts receivable/credit within a large, complex organisation
- Strong reconciliation skills with a keen eye for detail
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills (internal & external)
- Advanced Excel skills (essential)
- Able to manage multiple priorities across high-value/major accounts
- Proactive, solutions-focused and takes ownership
