About your team / Ko te tīma
The Performance Reporting team sits within WorkSafe's Communications and Government Services group and leads the organisation's performance reporting and accountability activities. Working across WorkSafe, the team provides trusted reporting and insights to the Executive Leadership Team, Board and external stakeholders, helping the organisation measure progress, understand performance and inform decision-making.
About the role / Ō te tūranga
As Manager, Performance Reporting, you will lead WorkSafe's enterprise performance reporting function, ensuring leaders have clear, accurate and meaningful insights to support decision-making. You will oversee key accountability and reporting processes, strengthen how organisational performance is measured and communicated, and help shape the story behind the data for the Executive Leadership Team, Board and monitoring agencies.
What You'll Do/ Ko tōu ake mahi
- Lead enterprise performance reporting and accountability activities
- Develop frameworks linking strategy, delivery and outcomes
- Deliver reporting and insights for ELT, Board and stakeholders
- Provide oversight of organisational performance measures and reporting
- Build trusted relationships across WorkSafe and with MBIE
- Lead and develop a high-performing reporting team
What You'll Bring / Ko ngā pukenga ōu
- Experience leading enterprise performance reporting functions
- Ability to translate complex information into meaningful insights
- Experience delivering reporting to senior leaders and Boards
- Strong relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven people leadership and capability-building experience
- Understanding of public sector accountability and reporting requirements
Salary range / Awhe utu
The expected appointment base salary for this role is $168,932. KiwiSaver or SSRSS employer contributions are additional.
From 1 April 2026, our KiwiSaver employer contribution increased to 3.5%.

Location
Wellington is the preferred, reflecting where much of WorkSafe’s enterprise planning and implementation activity is based. Other locations may be considered for a suitable candidate who is comfortable with regular travel and investing time in relationships across the organisation.
